Hi,
I'm a complete noob when it comes to web development. Instead of looking around for options for my development needs I went to a separate blog and followed their instructions on how to instal and configure MySql and Apache on my MBP. Then a friend mentioned to me the use of Mamp. My question is if I install Mamp, would the installation override my current Apache, PHP, PHPMyAdmin files? or would it just install a separate version creating chaos and confusion on my MacBook. Again, please bear in mind that I am new to web development and hopefully I'm saying this right.
