I've been going crazy searching the web trying to figure this out. I've installed the BitNami WordPress Stack 3.5.1-0 on my Mac OS X 10.6. Using the Duplicator plugin on my live site, I made a clone and installed it successfully in the local BitNami WordPress environment. Everything seemed to be great except none of the thumbnails showed. Instead, there were broken-link icons.
I've gathered that this is most likely a timthumb issue, or possibly a permissions issue, but nothing I do seems to resolve it. I don't really get how it could be a permissions issue, though, if it's on my local machine and I have full read/write access across the board.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
