A little help please

I've run the bitnami installer (on OS X) and I get this error towards the end:

Problem running post-install step. Installation may not complete correctly Error running /Applications/ICAredmine-2.1.2/apps/redmine/scripts/redmineini.sh > /dev/null : rake aborted! Access denied for user 'bitnami'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Tasks: TOP => db:migrate => environment (See full trace by running task with --trace) rake aborted! Access denied for user 'bitnami'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Tasks: TOP => redmine:load_default_data => environment (See full trace by running task with --trace)

After I finish the install and it launches nothing.

can anyone help me with this?

Alfresco OpenOffice Integration

Hello All,

First off the Bitnami stack couldn't have been easier to install and configure, except for the fact that I'm finding scripts here and there that needed a little chmod +x.

What I'm trying to do is get my open office integration working 100%. I thought I saw some screen shots that when you go to create new document that openoffice was choices in the drop down. If this is not possible please let me know and I'll stop my search. If it is true if someone can point me into the right direction for this and how to set it up that would be great. And I guess a MSOffice plugin as well for those that refuse to use OO. Thank you in advance for your help with this.

Redmine - Filter projects according to custom fields

Hi again!

I am using some custom fields in my project.
At creation I can select "Used as a filter" for each field.
But when I look at the projects-page I coulnd't filter anything.
It is only possible to search for the project or the field's name in the search box (top-right corner).
Do I miss something? Thanks!

Jenkins bundle and Tomcat Bundle conflicts.

When i'm installing Jenkins bundle, it comes with tomcat which is already installed with different bundle, so in the end i have port conflicts. The easiest way is just point to different ports new Tomcat, but the i will have two instances of it and that's just silly from performance point. Is there a way to skip installing second one Tomcat?

Migrating Wordpress website from one server to another

Hi,

I have created a website using Bitnami, AWS and wordpress. I now want to take a backup of my website (including forums and posts) from the original server and also want to put the website on another server exactly the way it is on the original server. Can somebody please help me with.

Hello. Could you please tell where I can download redmine 1.3.1 stack for linux 64-bit? We have 32 bit version of bitnami redmine 1.3.1 installed in our company and some plugins writen. Now we have to move it to 64 bit platform and I would like to avoid spending time on migrating rewriting plugins etc.

DjangoStack on Windows 7, installation problem

I downloaded the most recent DjangoStack and installed on Windows 7.

The Appache server worked fine, I got the introductory screen, however when I clicked on the application button (I had selected a new project during installation) I got an internal server error.

I tried to follow the setup instructions but they seemed out of date, saying that django.conf was in C:\Users\user\ etc. when in fact I could only find one in the Program Files directory of BitNami.

I tried editing them as specificed but I get an error saying the wsgi cannot load because of wrong python version.

Also when I use the BitNami console and type python, I get python 2.7.3, not 2.7.2 as per the documentation (in case this is part of the problem).

I tried BitNami because it says 'Ready to run', but it seems not so in my case.

Possible solutions I have looked at (but not tried) are re-compiling wsgi - this doesn't seem right considering the package is self contained.

Any help is appreciated, the product seems like a dream come true...

block access to tomcat admin gui

Hi,

I've Tomcat Stack on RHEL5.
I'm starting with 1 app and I want that people can't access to the tomcat admin-gui from Internet.
I want that only localhost can manage this admin-gui, and If I put mydomain.com I see the Welcome page of bitnami.. Is there some option to desactivate this for the external users(Internet).

how to create a new mysql database ?

Hi all, I have installed djangostack which installs a default djangostack database.

python manage.py syncdb works fine with my installation for the default db djangostack.

Now I have created a new project and I need to create a separate database for it. I could nt able to launch the mysql application which is in bin folder. How to get into mysql client to create new db and perform other sql queries?

Im new to HP cloud and have setup the webpack and wordpress. Is there a manager tool for applications. Server Start/Stop built in the cloud image from the webpack. It seems like the amazon version has one.

mysql_connect Access denied

It seems like this question has been asked many times, but none of the answers I can find on any forum work, so here goes. I am trying to write a php script that will connect to my bitnami database using mysql_connect. I have double checked the passwords, deleted and recreated users to no use. I can login with the user through putty, but I get an access denied when I try to connect through my php file.

Access denied for user 'myusername'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I removed the password for myusername and it then allowed the connection, but still could not get access to the database. Going without a password is not a solution anyway. I am wondering if there is a password hash getting in the way. I will be grateful for the help.

Create Database error

I am not able to create a database - Please help.

  1. mysql> sudo CREATE DATABASE ecomstore CHARACTER SET utf8;

With the above command, I get following error ERROR 1064 (42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'sudo CREATE DATABASE ecomstore CHARACTER SET utf8' at line 1

  1. Show databases gives me following answer and I am able to access test database

mysql> SHOW DATABASES; +--------------------+ | Database | +--------------------+ | information_schema | | test | +--------------------+ 2 rows in set (0.00 sec)

  1. With following command, i get

mysql> SELECT USER() , CURRENT_DATE; +-------------------+--------------+ | USER() | CURRENT_DATE | +-------------------+--------------+ | bitnami@localhost | 2012-08-29 | +-------------------+--------------+ 1 row in set (0.00 sec)

URL imagen formato texto

Hola, queria saber si alguien me puede informar que url debo ingresar entre !! en el formato texto para insertar imagenes en los proyectos, usuarios, etc. Tengo entendido que las imgenes estan dentro de Public\images\, pero quisiera saber la url completa.

Tengo un Win Server 2003, y la version de redmine 1.4.4.0.

Redmine- Intermittent 503 service temporarily unavailable error/Thin services

I am using the BitNami Redmine stack 2.0.1 on Windows Server 2008 and around every two to three hours, Redmine will return a "503 service temporarily unavailable error" when trying to access it. The only way to restore Redmine is to restart the redmineThin1 and redmineThin2 services.

If I try to access Redmine while it's down, these errors appear in \BitNami Redmine Stack\apache2\logs\error.log

[Thu Jun 07 12:10:35 2012] [error] (OS 10061)No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.  : proxy: HTTP: attempt to connect to 127.0.0.1:3001 (127.0.0.1) failed
[Thu Jun 07 12:10:35 2012] [error] ap_proxy_connect_backend disabling worker for (127.0.0.1)

It appears that ports 3001 and 3002 correspond to the redmineThin1 and redmineThin2 services. If one service isn't restarted, then it will continue to throw this error even if Redmine is accessible. The Redmine production.log doesn't show anything about this and reconnect is set to true in the database.yml file.

Does anyone know how I can stop these services from failing or locking up? Also, does anyone know what the log files for the redmineThin services are located? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Wordpress Multisite for Hp cloud
