Problems with CVS-Repository in Redmine 2.2.0 (subdirectories not working)

Hi,

I'm facing some problems with the CVS SCM Module in Redmine. Although it seems to work in general, there are some annoying bugs, maybe someone can help me out with this: The main problem is, that the repository does not handle sub-directories in my CVS structure. Everything in the top-level directory works fine, Issue references work fine, revisions are displayed etc., but the revisions-list does not recognize changes in files which are in a sub-directory. Also the Issue-references do not work there. But the directory and the included files are displayed in the repository brwoser. Can anybody give me a clue, why the import is incomplete?

Another problem is, that most of the details of the files in the CVS-repository are not displayed. The column 'Revision' is empty, the column 'Size' only shows a '?'. When I select a file and click on 'History', nothing is displayed. This is the case for all files, also in the top-level directory. The missing details are not a big problem for me, but maybe the problems are related to each other.

Here is my software configuration:

  • Windows 7 Enterprise SP1, 64Bit
  • BitNami Redmine Stack 2.2.0 (including Ruby 1.9.3, Rails 3.2.9)
  • Redmine MyLyn connector PlugIn 2.8.2
  • CVSNT 2.5.5

Maybe I have to use another CVS-Client that CVSNT? But, if so, which one would you recommend?

Thanks in advance! Best regards,

Dominik
