I registered a domain through Google Apps enom. Then I set up an EC2 WordPress (single site) instance. In BitNami > Manage server, I added a DNS for mydomain.com. I set a static IP for the domain. I also ran the update ip tool to get rid of wordpress in the domain.
What changes do I need to make to the DNS records to get them to bring up my domain when I type it into the address bar? As of now, I get a 404 error. I would upload an image of the enom configuration setting, but I don't have enough "karma." Here are the settings:
Host Name, Address, Record Type
@, ip address, A (There are four records like this.)
(CName records for Google Apps: calendar, docs, mail, site, start)
www, ghs.gooogle.com., C
I tried overwriting the record for www with the name of my domain for ghs.google.com., but I still get the 404 error (this was before I assigned a static IP and only wanted to use a CName).
Please let me know what I need to set to get my domain to work. Do I delete the AName and CName records that are currently there as well?
Thanks.
