Hi everybody, i'm a new italian Bitnami user, i hope my question has not been posted in the past.
I've downloaded the Joomla 2.5 appliance... run it with vmware e logged in joomla backend... while trying to install any extension (lang packs or components) i've got the same error message:
JFTP::login: Unable to login
JFTP: :store: Unable to use passive mode
Warning: Failed to move file!
Looking on System Information > Directory Permissions I can see that some directories are UNWRITABLE :
/administrator/manifests/files
/administrator/manifests/libraries
/administrator/manifests/packages
/libraries
/media
/configuration.php
configurazion.php is unwritable so I can't male any change to Site > Global configuration.
Is this an error with the new appliance? Can somebody help me?
