However installed Tattler App Drupal Drupal 6!) Distribution being an older application does not fully agree with PHP 5.3.10 we installed it (http://answers.bitnami.org/questions/4588/how-to-install-a-second-special-drupal-non-bitnami-application-distribution-tattler-on-bitnami-cloud-tutorial). Not IT savvy we wrongly assumed the following stated requirements for Tattler would be OK: - Up to date LAMP Stack PHP 5.2.x - MySQL 5.x. (OK!) - Cache like: APC recommended - PHP must have mod_rewrite enabled - PHP settings: max_execution_time at least 120 seconds - PHP settings: memory limit: at least 128 mb (190 mb recommended) - Installed on a sub-domain
So what to do now?
(1) Do we launch an extra new separate Amazon EC2 or Bitnami Cloud Instance - including Bitnami Drupal 6 - where we then newly install Tattler App again (as explained above ?
Under # bitnami_cloud_hosting/Base_stack we see rev 2 / 3 both having php 5.2.x. Can this be set up on Bitnami Cloud Hosting ? Or do we launch an Amazon EC2 instance use a Bitnami Image (which) one?
(2) or can we create a separate "virtual server environment silo" on the existing Bitnami Cloud Instance with right server specifications PHP 5.2. Can a separate "virtual environmment" be set up alongside the already virtualized environment of Bitnami? Can Virtualbox be of any use to us? Or some other bright server administration idea ?
