Can't delete updateip from Wordpress AWS EC2

Hi,

I've set up WP with my new domain using the sudo updateip command. Everything OK except whenever I reboot the EC2 instance the domain is changed back to the aws domain. I have tried to delete the updateip file using SFTP but it says permission denied. How do I get permission in AWS to delete the updateip file or disable it to stop it changing the domain?
