bitnami Redmine Administration

Hi,

So far I have installed the bitnami redmine on the server, have administered and tested some users to add projects, has performed backup and restore of the application.

My question now is, Do I need to learn deeply the concepts of MYSQL,PHP,ROR for the maintenance of the redmine application? Please do advise as I have not handled MYSQL,PHP,ROR before.
