My moodle installation has been working great for weeks but I have started having irregular problems with the website becoming unavailable. I have restarted, restored a backup, can continue to connect via ssh and haven't changed any server settings.
Google Chrome gives the following error
No data received Unable to load the web page because the server sent no data. Here are some suggestions: Reload this web page later. Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.
Firefox gives an error about connection being reset.
Without doing anything, the site becomes functional again after 10-15 minutes. Any ideas on the source of the problem? Amazon servers OK, my internet OK.
