Gitorious stack - ctlscript and Ruby path

Hello, I've installed BitNami Gitorious stack on a Ubuntu 12.04 server. It works fine until I want to create a new git repo via the web interface: the repo creating just won't stop and only HTTP 500 on the repo editing page.

I want to check the situation and try to use ctlscript.sh to restart the service, but it always says

/usr/bin/env: ruby: No such file or directory
git-daemon not running
-su: 1: rake: not found

And I've try to source my environment with the setenv script, used which ruby to make sure my ruby environment was set, and directly execute the scripts which will be invoked by ctlscript.sh. None of them got worked.

I know I can install ruby in my system and setup everything the script needed, but it's very strange if I need to feed the BitNami stack with system libraries ( that make no differences from manually installing gitorious, without using BitNami stack ). Or is it exactly what I need to do ?
