So here I am, new to ESXi, new to Moodle, new to BitNami. I have a new ESXi host, it is up and running with a VM configured by someone else and all is good. So I download and install the latest BitNami Moodle VMDK, create a VM, turn it on and then notice, I need to increase the HD size. The Moodle Admin I am setting this up for said his old server has 11GB and he asked for 100GB as we are significantly expanding the use of Moodle this year. So I shutdown Moodle, well, used the red button in ESXi as when logged in to linux as bitnami it said I didn't have permission to shurdown. Anyway, I shut off the VM and the option to change the size of the HD is greyed out. I don't have any snapshots. I don't think it was thin or thick provisioned, it was something else that started with a "s" Anyway, my support guys ran VMWare converter on it, set the IP and name, enabled ssh and now it is thick provisioned but still 5GB.
Any ideas?
BTW, I can access the internal IP internally but not externally. I get 502 bad gateway. I do have DNS entries for moodle.billingscatholicschools.org and firewall port 80 and 443 forwarding to this IP.
Thanks for any help for the new guy.
