I recently deployed a Zurmo CRM instance to Amazon EC2. I configured SMTP settings using gmail (port 465, ssl). Sending a test email from the Outbound Email Configuration dialog succeeds. However, sending emails from within the app fails. I have waited about 24 hours to receive emails sent via the application and they never arrived.
Is there any other server configuration I need to do? How might I troubleshoot this?
From what I've read on Zurmo forums, there should be a cron job for sending emails. Is this cron job set up as part of a Zurmo image?
