A customer has asked me to create two instances of drupal to deliver cms internally on a local server. I have been following the instructions at http://bitnami.com/article/how-to-install-multiple-joomla-sites-on-one-bitnami-stack and managed get up to the point where I reach the installer for the second site.
Drupal prompts me for the details of the new my sql database but I cannot connect. The username etc.. details I am putting in are perfectly correct and I have tried changing the host from localhost to 127.0.0.1. I have spent two days on this and have a flatten skull from all the bagging of my head against a wall.
The instructions in "How to set up Drupal Multi Site for Multi domainnames (+websites) together with an already installed WordPress MultiSites in Bitnami Cloud Hosting" refer to a cloud installation - anybody got any ideas what I am doing wrong?
