I've successfully installed the virtual machine version of OwnCloud 5.0.0 on a VMware vSphere host, and it works a treat. However, OwnCloud version 5.0.3 is now available, and I'd like to update my installation to that version to take advantage of bug fixes. I have looked at the instructions on how to do an update, but they're a bit puzzling to me to this extent: the Bitnami version is, as you know, installed in /opt/bitnami, and it's simple to see what files and directories are in the installdir. I've downloaded the OwnCloud 5.0.3 tarball, and extracted it into a new directory. When I look at the files and directories in this new directory, they're quite different than those in the Bitnami directory. I'm concerned that doing an rsync between these will screw up my well-working 5.0.0 installation.
Has anyone else done an update and, if so, how should I proceed?
