I'm trying to grant access to my Subversion Repositories via Apache. I just tried by using the HowTo from Ubuntu: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Subversion My problem is to load/install the apache module dav\_svn\_modul. Are there any HowTo's from BitNami side to install a module to the LAMP Stack?
Configuration
- BitNami Jenkins Stack Virtual Machine (/opt/bitnami)
- BitNami LAMP Stack as Native Installer (/opt/lampstack)
- Subversion installed (by apt-get) & configured (/home/svn/myproject)
Try 1 - Updating the httpd.conf to load the module from default location
sudo vi /opt/lampstack/apache2/conf/httpd.conf
# add: LoadModule dav_svn_module modules/mod_dav_svn.so
sudo /opt/lampstack/ctlscript.sh restart
Error Message:
Syntax error on line 96 of /opt/lampstack/apache2/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /opt/lampstack/apache2/modules/mod_dav_svn.so into server:
/opt/lampstack/apache2/modules/mod_dav_svn.so: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory
Try 2 -
Updating the httpd.conf to load the module from /usr/lib/apache2/modules
sudo vi /opt/lampstack/apache2/conf/httpd.conf
# remove: LoadModule dav_svn_module modules/mod_dav_svn.so
# add: LoadModule dav_svn_module /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_dav_svn.so
sudo /opt/lampstack/ctlscript.sh restart
