Problems configuration AWS EC2 UBUNTU Bitnami Subversion Server

Sounds so easy, but I'm having no luck with: https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/B007I9KE5C

Has anyone followed along and had success with the above setup of Subversion powered by BitNami? It says it is pre-configured, so I though that the setup would be easy but so far now, 3 days of struggling with this. Please help.

Things I don't understand:

1) where is the default repo location?

2) exactly where should I import my .dump file?

3) does the .dump file contain itself automatically under a project folder of the subversion repo, or do I need to create the project folder first?

4) beside opening port 3690 in EC2 security group do I have to open this up on the instance somehow, like enabling a firewall port?

5) is there something to do with Redmine, or am I just finding a lot of cross chatter on the subject?

Thanks for any help. I'm pretty green when it comes to Linux, which is probably most of the problem here.

Karl..
