I really wish that Bitnami came with something like Webmin or CPanel out of the box, as command line configuration gives me the shudders...
That said, I installed Webmin on top of Bitnami for several servers and it seems to work pretty well. Unfortunately, I've been noticing lately that some of the Webmin options are missing and I cannot figure out why. In particular, the Alias and Redirects icon is missing from the Apache virtual server configuration screens. I've searched the Web and cannot find anyone else who has noticed this, as it seems to be present in everyone else's (non-Bitnami) environment.
Do you guys have any idea why this would be the case? I'm stumped, because nobody in the Webmin world seems to know what's going on.
Failing that, can you offer help in setting up virtual server aliases and redirects? I can get my Bitnami server to recognise different incoming domain URLs but I'd like to set up URL redirection to point them to specific content. For example, I'd like to redirect incoming calls from 'www.domain1.com' to 'www.domain2.com/directory1/specialcontent.html'
